From the moment I began to work in the video game industry, I have been struck by how accepting everyone is. People in the industry value uniqueness, because whether we're men or women, a key ingredient in creativity is allowing people to be themselves. Every day, it's a pleasure to be surrounded by supportive people who understand that the industry is not just about games; it's about art. My experience has taught me that even though some women might feel they haven't been sent an invitation, they should still crash the video game industry party, where they'll find that everyone is welcome.
